Jumping the shark?
Ssfs jumped the shark some time ago. That’s why some ppl left the school
*yawn* At what point in time will those who previously left finally be secure enough with their decision to not feel compelled to be snarky? For some of you it's been at least a year. I feel bad for you that you're having such a hard time moving on.
And for those who always dismiss concerns - instead of attacking the person why not say why that isn’t true? You don’t dispute the school jumped the shark only that people can’t keep their mouth shut.
FYI - in these forums a lot of families come here looking for perspective. The perspective of people staying AND leaving are both useful to us. So I’m glad that a forum exists where I can hear about what really happened to the school. Clearly won’t get that from the admissions office.

If the parents and teachers on this forum are any representation of how the community acts, it is reason to be dismayed.
Yeah, you just did exactly what the OP was talking about. ALL the forums on DCUM are like this - not just SSFS. And this is just your not-so-clever way of continuing to bash the school.
Do better. Choose your school and live your life.
Your response only proves the point and suggests that the person who needs to do better is you. Is the way you act what Quakerism looks like?
Yes, when someone responds simply by saying, "Do better. Choose your school and live your life" - this is exactly what Quakerism looks like? Take care.
Thank you for clarifying that you lack an understanding of Quakerism and that you believe you have the right to silence anyone you do not agree with.
NP - You're reaching. If you're still posting then you haven't been silenced nor has anyone tried to silence you. But yes, you are exactly the kind of poster others have been referring to.
The poster was attempting to silence. And you know that. Whether or not it worked is another matter. Wow. Integrity? Community?
Yeah, you have trouble maker/troll written all over you. Nobody suggested the school was gaslighting. It was suggested that a poster (maybe you) was gaslighting. And the suggestion to shut the forum down was not because of people like you (although that would be a perk), but because the forum is not useful.
Quakers don't gaslight.
+1 Exactly. And they were trying to gaslight.
My goodness. Somebody really needs this forum to keep going...
I stand with previous posters about shutting down the forum. Nothing useful happening here.
Needs to shut down because someone suggested the school gaslights people?

Hahahaha. Ok is this considered blasphemy? Otherwise it's funny!
Another example of gaslighting as you try to use George Fox to win the argument. And you miss.
