Shocked. Shocked, I tell you.
There seems to be a rat race for prestige for the Boston schools, between BC, BU, Northeastern and Tufts, all trying to pretend they are more prestigious than they really are.
Very accurate.
I live in boston and agreed.
Nescacs are a superior brand to the second tier Boston schools

It does try to compete to be #1 or #2 in men's ice hockey (and this year was #3 or 4). It seems to stay in its lane, sticking to its early mission to educate immigrants and the poor (subsidized today by the full pays) and to have students care about and be in service of others. Whenever there's a DCUM faux competition and cry of fake prestige, it's not brought on by BC boosters, but rather others who really seem afraid that you might say it's better than ND or Vandy. It appeals to a pretty self-selecting group and they're happy with their choice. Fortunately others can choose differently.

CS has merit. W&M in-state. Apply to both. I think CS might end up being about same price and has better program, but I could be wrong - not sure about W&M's new program yet. But if a kid really likes W&Ms vibe, sure.
Sorry. CWRU not CS. Still getting my coffee on.
