Any one person can be evil or irrational or dumb. The real issue here is not his incompetence but rather why do 28% of adults support him even though he is openly promising to destroy them?
I still don’t get it

When asked whether everyone in the U.S. was entitled to due process — a fifth-grade civics question — Trump said, “I don’t know. I’m not a lawyer.” Does he need to uphold the Constitution (according to his oath)? “I don’t know,” he said.
And when asked about the economy, he said, “I think the good parts are the Trump economy and the bad parts are the Biden economy.”
I think they closed it because of sewage disposal. It just dumps into the ocean.

I 100% agree with this.
Trump does not even know what's going on. How many of his answers start with "I don't know" and "this is the first I am hearing about it."
He thinks "tariffs!" will solve all problems and has appointed a bunch of absolute morons to his cabinet.
The most evil person of all = Stephen Miller
The most to blame after him = the intelligent people close to Trump who do know what is happening (JD Vance, Marco Rubio, etc) (As for the others -- Kirsti Noem, Hegseth, Waltz, Karoline Leavitt etc etc etc -- I don't advocate letting them off the hook but they are clearly too unintelligent to understand that they are being used like pawns.)
Equally to blame, or maybe more because they are absolutely abdicating their responsibility = all Republican members of Congress. They know what the Constitution is. They know about National Security. They are choosing to protect their stupid little jobs rather than our future.

Public TV in Florida showed "Escape from Alcatraz" this weekend. Hmm.
Why is the news media reporting on someone who is sundowning and having on his every word? They look like idiots.
Good catch, pp. That explains it. My dad had Alzheimer’s and getting fixated on something is common.
