I mean, it is lacking depth. The characters are one dimensional caricatures. It’s not a well written show, but it’s about wealthy people so it’s entertaining. A lot of shows that lack substance just use wealth to draw viewers in and it works.
I hate to sound mean, but Jon hamm is also terrible in this role. He was great in mad men, and I liked him in the small role he had in friends with kids, but he’s not really convincing in this role.

Something about it bugs me. What is it? The song? It’s lame.

She's 53! She's a pretty, slim, white 53 year old who hasn't had much (or any) work done. So many of our perspectives are distorted by the number of actors/celebrities who have had plastic surgery or a lot of procedures. I think she looks natural and lovely-it's really refreshing to see.
I think she looks fantastic. She is aging beautifully. I loved her look poolside—the navy outfit—showing (barely) some midriff—sweater around her neck.
They make her look “appropriately tired/aged/stressed” when the scene calls for it. I hate when most series (Kidman in mms)—the actress looks as well coifed even when it’s a distraughtful, stressed time

Anonymous wrote:Well, how will Coop come back from this? Not sure how they'll explain why his blood was at the crime scene. It doesn't seem they know anything about the thefts though (yet).
Anonymous wrote:The actor who plays Coop’s father is waaaaaay too young for that role. I thought he was supposed to be an older brother until Jon Hamm called him “dad.”
