Absolutely not. The guys who are running the club are rec soccer guys, they probably don't even know what MLS next is lol
+1. This is total clown town. Their travel program is going to get cut in half, at least.
Name one club that isn’t a “clown town” on the girls side. They are all a s-show or severely short on talent. At the end of the day GFR just lost a couple coaches that weren’t even with the club 6 months ago. So all the GFR haters and worried parents need to take a chill pill. It’s all going to be fine.
Six coaches, a very capable technical director and an executive director who had been involved with the club for 18 years. Tell me how they’ll replace that.

Loudoun parent here and it feels like the same thing is happening to us. Feel for you.

I just want my kid to play and have a good time while getting better without all of this politics/drama! I’m taking my daughter for a tryout there! I love their 1st team coaches in all the age groups!

I agree it doesnt make sense. My son is a 2010 and they have four teams of kids plus whoever is trying out scheduled at the same time as 2011 boys and girls-they have three teams...so 7 full sized teams plus tryer outers on ONE Field???
We were not told that our regular practices were canceled though.
The 2010 should be running on the bike trail instead.
