I can believe it. I am in Italy on vacation right now. My son told me that if I wanted to buy a round trip ticket to the US today from here the price would be $450 or $640. That’s for buying a ticket on the day of, which is usually more expensive. They can’t give them away.

He didn’t need to issue the warning. Many people have already decided they don’t want the privilege of visiting right now. Americans in turn will be entitled to the slump in the travel industry and the economics thereafter.
