i hope this is a lie. Pretty sad if notAnonymous wrote:The toxicity was strong at the Arlington 2011s team tonight! Thought it was just the players but nope - came from the coaches. This was an invite only session and after the session the coaches told the 5 girls who they were not considering to “leave, just go” and everyone watched them walk off the field. These coaches have no business coaching kids. And if you’re wondering if my kid was one told to “leave, just go”, no. My kid was invited back but after seeing that and also having some very questionable things said to her by the coaches during the session, she will absolutely not be going back again.

Good that you’re not going back again. What’s wrong with that? They are trying to form a strong team with talent and mental toughness. Only strong people will survive in the real world. Please take your soft kid somewhere else—you definitely don’t belong here. Other kids who need it more will take the spot.

Arlington is FAR better
Vda has way better coaching. Arlington has better educated parents.
Kickball or rugby coaches yes. Soccer coaches no.
Arlington has the better staff / technical play.
Stop. I've watched more than one match and the "strategy" is to boot it long to the right wing and hope she could out run the girl marking her and corral the ball.
In case you were wondering, she could not effectively do either. And yes, this is an ECNL team.
Have you seen college play? That’s 90% of all male and female college teams.
This wasn't the discussion. I'm ok with fast direct football when necessary. It can be superior to 25 sideways and backwards passes which do nothing.
I was responding to, I am assuming a parent, saying other clubs teach "kickball", whilst claiming Arlington "develops" players.

They are not secret practices or ID sessions. Girls who have received callbacks from ID sessions are attending normal team training this week by invite.
Yes. This allows the existing girls to meet the ones taking their place.

Anonymous wrote:Nope. That is not the same thing. This was a group of current players and 9 other outside players. 4 outside players were told to stay with the current team and then the 5 outside players were told to “just go, leave”. Those 5 13 year old girls walked off the field while everyone watched. I wish it were a lie but I posted it here because people should know how horrible these coaches are to keep their kids safe. This is not normal behavior! Do not normalize this behavior for your daughter!
