When you qualify his health by saying he’s healthy, “for his age and incredibly poor lifestyle choices,” that is not a ringing endorsement of his health. “Not going to die very soon” is certainly not “healthy enough to be fit to serve as president.” The same political party that railed about Biden’s being senile is starting to suggest a third term for Trump.
The thing about 78-year old men is that they've already passed the average life expectancy. It shouldn't be a shock to anybody when a man that age rapidly deteriorates and dies of natural causes within any given week. It happens every single day. He's got a chance to make it to 82, but he has a much greater chance of not.
The life expectancy of a man in the US at the top 1% of income is 87.3.
This is the most depressing thing I've read today.
Why? If Trump passes away, we will have Vance. That’s hardly a reason to celebrate.
Vance doesn't have the cult of personality Trump does. GOP Congress doesn't fear him the way they fear Trump and his lunatics.
Congress and other GOP politicians don’t fear him and constituents don’t like him. Without Trump actively in the picture, Vance could even, eventually, be impeached or resign. He has minimal political experience and even less apparent political appeal. People enthralled by or intimidated by Trump wouldn’t necessarily have similar allegiance to Vance.
Unfortunately, power would then slide to the Speaker of the House. The US really needs a process for calling new elections, especially if it’s found that the results of an election were fraudulently obtained.

There are 3 foot-genders, and you can't wake up one morning and just decide you have more feet than you actually have!
Lifts in your shoes definitely qualifies as gender-affirming care.
According to AI, so can wearing makeup, which Trump does:
“Yes, wearing makeup can be a form of gender-affirming care. Gender-affirming care includes any way a person can express their gender identity, including clothing, makeup, and other options.”
And whatever is happening with his hair.

Exactly. And Vance will be worse

Vance has no charisma. Someone called him a dough-faced douche bag on another thread and he so is. He cannot command the cult.

I loved the sign in Vermont that said:LAP DOGS DON’T SKI.
He’s a yappy little lap dog.
