Okay, I buckled down and did just that -- the front sidewalk at least. Digging out the car will be a tomorrow job that I will enlist the kid's help with ha! I will say that as the snow now is turning to rain, the snow I was shoveling was getting heavier so maybe I will be grateful for that in the morning, and won't have to shovel off a bunch of compacted ice snow. On the other hand, if what remains in the morning is no snow but an unwalkable and maybe even un-shovelable layer of ice, I might regret this!
