I remember reading an article about how donations have been down, and the KC spokesperson tried to deny it. Then I got an email from them asking why I have not donated this year, literally asking me, “Was it something we did?” and begging me to fill out a form about my reasons.
As a major gifts officer (not for the Kennedy Center, thank God) please tell me you did!!!!
Their development office is hemorrhaging. I work at another major nonprofit in the DC area with some job openings and I've interviewed about five people from their shop.
Which one? I’m not from KC, but I have been looking since March after budget cuts forced position cuts
