I was an avid reader in ES and I loved Are you There God It’s Me Margaret and some other Judy Blume books. So when I found a copy one of I had never heard of before, I started it immediately.

I learned a LOT from Forever. I definitely didn’t understand it and probably misinterpreted a lot but it was better than any sex ed class could have been!

Read "The Thorn Birds" when I was in 8th grade at Catholic school. Parents were super devout and yet this book was in their book case. I was blown away twice - the idea that a priest would have sex and the idea that my parents would own this book.

It's still one of my favorite books!
