We know as much about her as many of the other characters, and I don't know why people expect her to be so much more fleshed out at this point than everyone else. We know the same or less about Whittaker, Javad, Langdon, and the one doctor who spends too much time with patients.
Dr. Collins is a little stoic and private, but she's not cold. Having worked in an ER, doctors like her are often pretty interesting once you get past the facade.

The hospital administrator visits to chastise Dr. Rabi are totally unbelievable, but I can let that slide. Noah Wylie is great as is the head nurse.
We started watching it last week and caught up. Does it drop on Thursdays?
The head nurse is phenomenal and it’s very much in the tradition of ER to have her be the heart and soul of the place. The actress really plays her so well. In general the show is very well cast.

Don’t like women who aren’t warm enough and may or may not be having a baby as a single mother? You must have been thrilled to see her miscarrying last week.
MAGA trash views polluting another entertainment thread.
Anyway, back to the show. You’re not supposed to like everyone because it’s meant to be a more realistic portrayal of a busy city ER. Not everyone at work is likable, and different people respond to different personalities. All of the characters are interesting, and the writing is great. I love how we’re getting to know so much about the characters in a single day. I like seeing the complex dynamics that make the ER work despite all of the brokenness of the system.

This show is being praised for being unusually accurate in its representation of various conditions and treatments. I'm here for it.
Agree it's realistic. What is the first thing a woman fearing a miscarriage does? Check her underwear.
It definitely was realistic, but realistic things can be gross.
