Costco in Wheaton and the Safeway in Kensington had ZERO eggs as of 8pm last evening (Tuesday)
You mean right after the big snow freak out back to school shopping?
Do some math, kitten. The snow was 10 days ago. This was last night.![]()

No, *I* said “Tuesday night”. As in last night. Not a week ago. Yesterday. The 14th.
As another poster said - you CAN acknowledge there’s an egg shortage right now without it making you a trump supporter. You don’t have to keep carrying the torch for Joe.
Because right now you look like a complete moron trying to convince the crowd how awesome the Emperor’s New Clothes look, when we can all plainly see his wedding tackle hanging down.
Wow. You are really on fire. I have no idea if there is an egg shortage all the way in outer MD where you live. There is not one here. So it’s spotty stock I guess?
Anywhoooo prices are up maybe a dollar. That happens over time.
Kensington is “outer Maryland”?!?!
JFC, what a moron![]()

Today isn't Wednesday. That's disinformation.

There aren't, though. Not even in Fairfax County.
In Fairfax County you cannot have chickens on less than 2 acres, even as pets, unless you live in a locality that allows it (like Fairfax City) or are grandfathered, or go through the permit process with public hearing. I'm aware some people just have them anyway, but 2 acres is the rule in that county.
It's not 2 acres per chicken. And the rule has two options: (1) 2+ acres (2) < 2 acres plus permit

I think that is a common rule, it was the same for where I lived in CT. This is where I am not sure why people are thinking you could just have chickens in urban areas where nobody has that much land. There are still rules that restrict what you realistically could have.
