Why?
University of Tennessee in Knoxville has 68% acceptance rate, Clemson 43%
lol not anymore. OOS is maybe 30%
OOS acceptance @ UTK for 2025 was 23%.
LOL yeah right. Is their wait list closed? Let’s see your citation. If it’s not a press release dated from 05/25 I’m going to laugh even more.

Your attitude towards UTK is odd. And quite frankly whatever perception you have of this school is outdated. And their waitlist has not started moving yet

Not my alma mater, but I will admit that it's probably the best southern football song!![]()
DC1 sings "Take Me Home" and DC2 is humming "Rocky Top" (atm). Still gotta get in. We all really liked Knoxville. So much so, that it's made our short list of places to (potentially) retire except DC2 said we'd have to wait til they graduate!

If you are interested in politics, I was able to to intern/be a research assistant at the SC legislature all through college (the Capitol building was closer to my dorm than some of my classes). Plus there is a ton of research funding available for honors thesis projects. Just a few things to consider.
