You mean like how human life was for thousands of years except the last 50 years of radical feminism? And now wage growth has ceased, everyone is depressed and on SSRIs, and nobody is having (enough) kids.

You mean supported by the unpaid labor of millions of anonymous women, who were given no autonomy over their own lives? Who were entirely reliant on men?

Division of labor is fine—smart, even, sometimes. I have no problem with people ordering their lives in whatever way suits them and their families best.

But feminism was important because it gave women choices.

Before the advent of the “radical feminism” you so casually dismiss, a woman whose husband died, or left her, or abused her or their children would have had a very limited set of options to choose from. Few of them were very pleasant.

Trad Girlfriend is a thing too

Trad-girlfriend and trad-wife are certainly adjacent to the Cozy-girl / softgirl trend.

Everyone should soften by 20%.
Don’t let greedy CEOs kill you or your spouse.

i agree! we had kids early and now have 2 kids on college an are mid 40s. we ar run a good spot financially. college is all paid for. i’m trying to encourage my DH to maybe switch careers and do spending he loves. he’s always wanted to be a teacher or work at a school in some capacity. Wish he would make the switch. His job is insanely stressful.

My DH is going to purse academia as soon as our youngest is in college and we aren’t tied to our school district. He doesn’t care about being tenure track but I still know it will be difficult to get. But he at least wants to see what happens. I fully support it.

Unlikely. Females are hardier and longer living from from an embryonic stage through death and it has nothing to do with these gender dynamics.

It leads to BBC.

I clicked it; it’s fine. I’m not sure what you are so worried about, BBC is a legitimate and respected news source.

Anonymous wrote:Its a great trend if your view of women is that they are like plants or pets or young children. That they aren't able to be independent or manage adult lives and adult responsibilities. That they need to be taken care as they aren't competent and capable like men. The view that a man has to be the plan because a women can't do much and can't manage an independent adult life isn't new and certainly not a trend that is worth emulating.

If the stay at home wife is married to an entrepreneur, trust me, she’s still working.

She’s just working for the husband without pay.

This is so depressing to just sit back and watch your daughter make every mistake that you had hoped she would avoid
A sense of failure as a parent like no other.
And the shame that goes with it is aweful
