i agree! we had kids early and now have 2 kids on college an are mid 40s. we ar run a good spot financially. college is all paid for. i’m trying to encourage my DH to maybe switch careers and do spending he loves. he’s always wanted to be a teacher or work at a school in some capacity. Wish he would make the switch. His job is insanely stressful.

That they aren't able to be independent or manage adult lives and adult responsibilities. That they need to be taken care as they aren't competent and capable like men. The view that a man has to be the plan because a women can't do much and can't manage an independent adult life isn't new and certainly not a trend that is worth emulating.
