I don’t know that creating a redundant organization outside the government is the efficient way to do that, nor do I think a billionaire deciding randomly that 99 agencies is what is best is measured or thoughtful.
It will not be random. He cut 75% of twitter and it is functioning very well.
Standby.
It lost 78% of its value. Even Fidelity says it lost big time with its investment. And, probably even more with the mass exodus by 11/15. I guess MAGA thinks this is a winning strategy. But, isolationists always lose world standing, so I’m sure America’s about to lose 78% too.
Did it ever have that value? Or was that an illusion, like much of Wall Street?
There's a lot of false valuations. Big changes coming. The stock market has become a gambling house.

I’m pp just back to add that this kind of thinking prevails when MAGA don’t understand economics or believe economists.

And this one can go right away
Climate Resilience Task Force: Initiated in 2022, this interagency task force collaborates across federal entities to develop strategies for mitigating and adapting to climate change impacts.

My father received a letter from Social Security. The first page was printed on both sides and conveyed more than was needed. A second page contained only a signature line and the website. He worked in the private sector and send feedback on line to SSN suggesting that the signature line could be at the bottom of the other page, thus savings reams of paper. He also suggested that people be asked on line if they wanted a printed and mailed letter or could just read the message on line. He received a response from SSN saying that its computers could not be set for another line of type so the extra page was necessary. It also said that letters had to be mailed. My 80 year old ex-Big Accounting father made a good point that was easily implemented and completely ignored. It's not like saving the cost of an Apache helicopter but he was blown off.

The fed workers were supposed to be neutral, but they couldn't help themselves. I hope they fire 90% of them.
Well the federal workforce is by and large more educated than the general public and we know there is a correlation between lack of education and voting R. So this tracks.
Stop taking this personally. This government is too GD big. Too many moving parts. Too much inefficiency.
Some cutbacks are necessary.
