Maybe because they recognize that the men they are dating have no idea they had a nose job in the last, use Botox, had a boob job and yet seem very happy with their looks?
Maybe it’s about more than appearance. To me, it’s a red flag regarding values, confidence, and self esteem.
The point is that a lot of men don’t even know. See the posts from men who didn’t learn until later that the women they were dating had had a nose job.
That’s is true. I can only speak for myself, but it’s not about the appearance aspect of elective plastic surgery, especially by mature people in middle age, that should have grew as people beyond the point of tinkering with their appearance. They should have accepted their flaws and learned that they are part of life.
This whole thread is so very sad. These are a bunch of middle upper to straight up wealthy class people. They should be living the dream, but are so unhappy and self conscious in their own skin, thst they regularly inject neurotoxins into their face, or have to to get boob jobs and liposuction so they can fit in at the country club or swanky dinner parties. They probably all make fun of bezos new wife too.

Oh wow. I started looking into this and you're right. So scary.
Another thing I found out is that when you have surgery they cut your skin open and you bleed!
Wow!
Maybe it’s just me, but injecting neurotoxins into your face seems like bad idea.
The headaches, vision issues and brain fog are real. The industry doesn’t like to acknowledge that and send you off to a neurologist or ophthalmologist if it outlasts the 3+ mos of Botox. Meanwhile, enjoy your smooth forehead and heavy eyebrows you can’t move!

The WHOLE point. Walk around smug and judgmental, with no idea. Of course your wife doesn't wear makeup, is naturally hair-free in all the right places, and has hair the never goes grey.

But I’m sure you have no issues drinking alcohol.
I’m not sure why you’re comparing Botox to alcohol. Are you saying Botox is an addiction? Or helps cover up for other insecurities?
I think pp's point is that we consume all kinds of "toxins" on a regular basis
WhoTF compares a glass of wine your body naturally digests in 6 hours to Botox shots into your forehead muscles?!?
Talk about idiotic. Thanks for yet another data point of these types.
And if it were one drinks over 6 hours that would be one thing, but it’s not. Botox also fades over time. And -this will blow your mind- Botox is used medically as well.
Are you still attempting to compare 10-16 neurotoxin shots into your head that takes 3-4 months to decay with drinking a class a wine that instantly passes through your stomach, kidneys and urinary track in 6 hours or less?
Hilarious.
Maybe your Botox needles hit too many head nerves over time.
Yes, I am sure that one glass of wine is all you ever drink. After all, people on this site are all about only drinking once a week. I don’t even know why alcohol has warning labels at all given how responsibly it is used and the amazing health benefits the wine industry says it has.
I’m sure in your life you are just as clean as can be in all things. No alcohol except that one glass, no OTC drugs or prescription drugs or ultra processed foods or anything! And certainly no Botox!
There you go again. How embarassing.
I agree. How do you even live in the world with your idiocy?

Ha!
I mean, look at the Queen’s of plastic surgery > The Kar/Jenners.
It is clearly obvious they all have had work done to alter their appearances & yet they still seem to attract a multitude of men.
They have plenty of guys hit it and quit it.
