That’s is true. I can only speak for myself, but it’s not about the appearance aspect of elective plastic surgery, especially by mature people in middle age, that should have grew as people beyond the point of tinkering with their appearance. They should have accepted their flaws and learned that they are part of life.

This whole thread is so very sad. These are a bunch of middle upper to straight up wealthy class people. They should be living the dream, but are so unhappy and self conscious in their own skin, thst they regularly inject neurotoxins into their face, or have to to get boob jobs and liposuction so they can fit in at the country club or swanky dinner parties. They probably all make fun of bezos new wife too.

How ridiculous. Wanting to get a boob job to replace sagging breasts post nursing, getting Botox or getting lasers to remove sun spots, a brow lift etc is not a sign of being unhappy or self conscious. It’s just taking advantage of modern advances in beauty treatments. (I literally don’t know anyone in my own friend group not getting Botox!).

I am a woman and I always KNOW if you’ve done Botox. From the smooth forehead with wrinkles at the hairline and so on. It’s just so obvious. You’re truly not fooling anyone but yourself. I cannot even eat lunch with my ds without laughing. She looks like Tim Allan in that Christmas movie. I am always being told it takes a little for it to settle and for the life of me I cannot understand why she does this. She’s beautiful and highly accomplished, Botox is not necessary. She’s venturing into injectibles and the chubby cheeks is more than I can take. I would sue her one for if I weee her. There’s just something so wrong with turning someone into a space alien. All of her friends do this and they think they are the best looking in the room. It’s painful and laughable at the same time.

Botox is medically proven safe but does have risks. Just like so many other things. It's a personal choice that, when done well without excess, makes women look more like the conventional beauty standard. Obviously not without risk but not dissimilar to the concept of eyeliner or lipstick, or hair dye, or tattoos. If a woman wants that and can afford it, why would you care what she does? Why do you need to come on a message board and repeatedly whine about fRoZeN FoReHeaDs and ToXins!!!!?
