Trader Joe's will likely say that it doesn't manage the parking lot nor profit from it. That said, I'd be curious to see the correspondence between the parking lot operator and Trader Joe's corporate....

Trader Joes could help customers by prominently displaying info about the parking garage for customers.

Customers who parked at the Garage next door should be sure you have registered your vehicle (at xxx.here.com) to obtain 2 hours of free parking. Failure to register may result in a ticket. Trader Joes has no connection to the parking garage or its policies.

There is a big sign outside the entrance. I was there a week ago.

I would consider speaking with a lawyer and seeing if it's possible to file a class action suit against this company. Find a lawyer that specializes in class action lawsuits - it should be free to explain the situation.
