I am guessing she has been instructed not to for security purposes or she is not playing the next run of shows in London and needs to get details in order before cancelling.
I am a little surprised as well. In addition to the legal aspect, I think we need to remember that she’s human and her life was threatened as well. Yes, she’s a celebrity+++ but that can’t ever feel normal to someone. I hope she is doing well emotionally.
Ask your kid, does it feel normal to have lockdown drills? Probably because they have done it since preschool. This was just a bomb threat by a teenager.
Just because violence cancelled something people look forward to doesn’t really make it anymore horrible than everyday violence kids face in schools. Bomb threats, active schooler threats, drills etc.
I do hope that whenever your child’s school is cancelled for death threats, or a bombing threat, you have the same level of understanding for your child and the staff at the school that you are showing Taylor.
Same crap, different venue, why does it feel different to you?

Agree it’s very odd for her not to speak out yet. Even when the fan passed away at her concert last year (and investigation going on) she posted about being heartbroken.
That being said….London mayor has already said the shows will occur. They have implemented additional security measures. Attendees at the soccer match there today noted the extra security.
To be fair, he doesn’t really get to decide that. He may be saying that they will happen because London’s govt has no plans to cancel the shows, but only Taylor and her team decide if they will actually happen or not and she hasn’t confirmed either way.

What would you like her to say?
Not sure. It just feels weird that she’s utterly silent on having to cancel three entire shows and completely missing a city. It’s certainly something to comment on, acknowledging to your fans that it sucks, don’t you think? In other concerts, she acknowledges the effort it takes to get there, that many in the audience traveled great distance to get there, etc. so she knows that many people were in that boat. Seems worthy of comment to me.
