Sahms. In college it was inexplicable to me that a woman would make this choice. Now I’ve fallen into the role and think it can be amazing for kids and families. And that it’s not intellectually inferior to many careers if you’re a curious person.

Two things can be true at once. I think he's guilty as hell, but wrongly convicted.

Curious why you think he’s guilty?

The existence of a Biblical God. It’s so obvious to me now that it was written by men, for men, and about men to maintain the patriarchal order. I was raised Catholic, went to Catholic school and college and fully believed until my early 20s. The God concept from the Bible is simply the anthropomorphic reduction of natural phenomena into a worldview that suits those in power.

That is such a broad statement. You could sell me on society should be organized by quakers but not by creflo dollar. What do you mean?

Similarly with abortion, I used to feel it was regrettable but necessary. After 15 years in healthcare I have seen way too much glibness about this, too many patients with histories of 10+, too much postponement for weeks due to seeing if the father steps up. It should be taken much more soberly and seriously.

Anonymous wrote:Christianity. Grew up atheist/agnostic and became Catholic. With that came a chance in almost all my political stances and outlook in general.

I also used to think everyone should have kids, for their own happiness and growth. Now I am not so sure. I think some people truly should not have kids and it is wise for them to realize it before having kids. And that they can be happy without kids.

Opposite. Grew up Catholic and now atheist.

Cops, but it's not like I thought they were good guys. I had no idea as I never had to run into them growing up abroad. The cop shows here portrayed them as good.
