You need to seriously educate yourself regarding worldwide declining birth rates. You sound like a moron.

She's a school psychologist by trade, very maternal, and has always been a homebody who loves cooking/baking, home projects, crafts, organizing, and just hanging out at home. So probably not the norm.
She's also an introvert who says "I don't want to date, I just want to be three years married living in a house that looks like a cottage with the love of my life, a golden retriever, and a baby on the way." I hope that works out for her![]()

Here’s that survey: https://www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2024/07/25/the-experiences-of-u-s-adults-who-dont-have-children/
Majorities in both groups say not having kids has made it easier for them to afford the things they want, have time for hobbies and interests, and save for the future. In the younger group, about six-in-ten also say not having kids has made it easier for them to be successful in their job or career and to have an active social life.

That's what I'm expecting in my family -- two kids, age 20 and 21. DD has long said she doesn't want kids, since she was in elementary school. DS does see himself having kids. But I'd guess he won't have them until he's older, like DH was 40 when DS was born.

My daughter is in her third year at an Ivy and this message is being pushed hard at her university.
