I know this principal and had many conversations with him when my child was at Barnsley. I am not specifically a fan or a critic, just experienced him as someone trying to do his job. I didn't always agree with his takes and would say he had an unrealistic expectation that kids would have positive behaviors and compliance at all times, which is just not realistic. They wouldn't be talking about crimes that they'd covered up since they were covered up.

Covered up = no charges ever filed. There is a whole list of times John Vigna was caught with little girls on his lap over 20 years that were never reported. It took one little girl recently to speak up and get him convicted. He was kept on the payroll, kept his teaching license and allowed to retire even with guilty verdict. Just recently he finally confessed that he had lied all those years and he really was guilty of sexually abusing all those little girls. MCPS was happy to have him lie for over 20 years even with eye witnesses.

I read up thread that they’re advertising a principal position at the school. If he is found innocent or not guilty what happens to his job? Does he get to be a principal at another school or assigned to central office?
