It wasn't even an argument, he just commented on the weirdness of my behavior, and I was curious. Clearly, he is correct and I am abnormal. For the record I only do it in our guest room when it's the end of the night and I have finally decided to relax and watch something. I always clean up, and I change my sheets in all bedrooms weekly!
Also, just to clarify...we are upper middle class, I have a very successful career and I am not overweight. Laziness is not something that exists in my wheel house.I am also not sure I follow the logic of bed eating equals poor diet and obesity? Lol. I eat very good, whole foods...I just sometimes do it in bed watching TV.
It’s a sloppy, lazy habit so it’s not unreasonable to guess that that tendency spills over into other parts of your life.
But that isn't the case here. All other parts of my life are successful, by my own hand! I am very successful by all materialistic societal accounts. Great career, big beautiful clean house with an immaculate yard, 2 new cars that are also clean, great style and wardrobe, in shape, lots of friends, involved in civic responsibilities, and I even run a sports and fitness program in my free time! So yeah, I am NOT lazy, I just enjoy a meal or snack in bed from time to time.

Didnt you already brush your teeth? nasty!
Why do you assume that?
because you are in bed.

You don't really know this. FWIW I've often found this sub forum to skew a little crazy. Probably me too.
