Something vegetarian, something meat, big pans of rice. I’d make a couple platters of fresh cut veggies and homemade yogurt dip and ask a few people to bring desserts
In my admittedly limited experience, Indian food is too spicy to serve to a crowd. There will always be some people who don’t like/can’t eat spicy food. If I’m wrong, please tell me what I should be ordering to get the flavors without the heat.
Butter chicken is very mild and most people like it. I’d do that. I’m not sure about crowd pleaser vegetarian, but you can simply say mild on the heat and you’ll get that.

You need to keep it as basic as possible. Spaghetti and meatballs is the easiest option.

We have access to a professional kitchen with 2 ovens.
What about casseroles? They seem like something that would be easy to prepare in foil pans and kept warm in the oven until ready to serve. Does anyone have casserole suggestions?
