Princeton is a very nice town with quite a bit of history. It increasingly has more youth-oriented establishments and the proximity to NYC is an added plus.

Not the PP but Ithaca, NY, is a small city with a downtown area that is separate and distinct from the Cornell U and Ithaca College campuses. There are restaurants, a pedestrian-only area (the Commons), a Hilton Garden, shops, etc. Adjacent to Cornell is the Collegetown area with restaurants, apartments, etc.

I lived in Princeton. Ok, it’s a nice place. But Princeton is the most boring town in the country and happens to be located just over an hour away from the most exciting city in the world.

So you missed the pizza places, Hoagie Haven, Thomas Sweet, the coffee shops, and other restaurants? Princeton is a really nice town but if you go there with a preconception of what it’s like you’re just going to fixate on the places that confirm that view.

Yes, u missed it. “The village” of Claremont is about a 10 minute walk from campus. Cute restaurant and shops. Not a college bar scene as I recall.
