There are more than 30 openings for principals. They posted a ton of jobs a while ago and the postings closed. Thursday there will be a special BOE meeting just for appointments so stay tuned.

It is still early.

It may be just how their profiles are set up on MCPS Careers. I see a total of eight assistant principal job listings and three principal job listings. It may also be because it is not yet time to list some for various reasons.

My MCPS Careers system shows AP listings.

PPs status is a hint that some APs may have been selected for principal positions, which could be announced soon.

It doesn’t work that way, no AP selected as a principal would have their AP position posted before their principal announcement.
