If I had to guess I would say UGA and Wisconsin are at the top of DC's list, but it changes by the day. UGA was great! So now he's leaning towards that. Feel like our Wisconsin visit will just confuse the issue and make it 50/50 again. We toured the business school at UGA and were impressed. One thing is neither are direct admit and Wisconsin does let in some direct admit and it's smaller, so it's a little harder to get in. They also only give you one try. Whereas UGA you can re-apply if you're denied and no one is direct admit. We go to Wisconsin this weekend. I think it also helps to hang out with people and meet them to get an idea. I wish. He has a possible one Wisconsin. UGA maybe but not likely. Doesn't want random but not sure how he will find one. Seems so late! How about yours?

No, he's reached out to a few kids on the Instagram pages. Several already have roommates or haven't fully committed to a school. It feels like a lot of kids are in this position, so hopefully a random match will work out if it comes to that. I'm stressed about a lot of things with this process, but this is near the top.

The professors at Wisconsin are just at another level between UMD and UGA; name me one UGA department ranked in the top 50. With Wisconsin, you can't find a department which is NOT ranked in the top 20.

Mostly full professors. It would be useful if you're applying to graduate schools with one of the best professors in the country writing it. It should be noted in terms of recognition, Wisconsin still has more famous professors than Michigan does, thanks to the fact that many of these professors were hired in the 1980s and 90s (when Michigan entire college of LSA sucked).
