When I worked at a grocery store, there was a guy whose job, whose sole job at the store, was to round up carts all over the parking lot and bring them to right outside the store. Ever since then, I don't put my cart back because if everyone did that, that job wouldn't exist.

I hope you at least put your cart in the cart corral. You should not leave it in the parking lot as it can roll and hit a car. You need to put your cart either in the cart corral or back in the store. Not just randomly in the parking lot taking up a parking spot.


I do put my cart back but, where I grew up there were guys whose job this was. Stores are just being cheap by not hiring guys to put the carts back (and other misc. duties).


If you put your car in the corral, then that poster is not referencing you. They are referencing the people who just leave their carts willy-nilly in the parking lot. Even if the store has a person hired to collect the cart, that does not prevent carts from rolling into cars before the cart collector has a chance to collect the cart. There are corrals for a reason.

You don't drive nearly as well as you think you do, and you're not more important than the other users on the road. Also flipping people off because they are trying to share the same road is a reflection on you and your immaturity and above mentioned lack of driving skills, not the sick burn you think it is to the other drivers.
