VDA 09 and NVA 09 played twice in the fall. Each team won a game 1-0. That looks pretty even to me.

I would argue that FCV is one of the top if not top clubs as far as recruiting goes. They place their top players in top D1 programs but they also are successful in placing the majority of their players (if not all) in college programs. VDA doesn’t do that. Even their 06 “super star” team doesn’t have that many placements outside their top players who would have done equally well on any other team in the area. VDA has a long way to go with recruiting compared to FCV and Union. Maybe now that they have Aaron Brunner as an advisor, they’ll do better.

I don't recall anybody specifically saying anywhere in this thread that BP was the absolute driving force behind their DD becoming the player they are. What BP does well is with connecting players to colleges, and establishing an solid environment for players to grow. How they grow is ultimately up to them within it, and that's with most clubs to be fair. Some do it better than others, some don't.
