By the end of the decade? This needs to be completed BEFORE China attacks Taiwan and takes over TSMC. That's the whole point.

Isn't end of the decade better than not at all? It is a public-private partnership. It is complicated. But it puts the US back on the right track. The GOP had no solutions and didn't do anything about it and voted against it.

This is such BS. The US have the workers and they can be trained and taught. They just have to be willing to pay a fair wage in comparison to a Taiwan wage.

You can train them without importing labor, but it will take a lot longer to get everything established. It will easily take 5-10 years to establish a talent pipeline and waiting for this to happen will slow down every
