Harvard, I think tonight but don’t know for sure. Wishing everyone good luck for their kids (whether that means being accepted to a dream school this month or taking another fabulous path)!

I remember getting deferred then ultimately rejected at Princeton. It stung, but I think I wound up at a better school for me personally in the end. She will wind up somewhere great!

So true. This happened to me at one Ivy and another Ivy admitted me with merit aid (yes, that’s a thing at ‘lower Ivy’s’ at least), so I know it wasn’t about my academic readiness. Shake it off like TSwift and move on.

My kid heard from 2 EAs today. We can afford both, both are great schools. We are all thrilled.
