Are you talking about Jean-Ralphio and Mona Lisa (they really didn’t shout much), or are you thinking that Billy Eichner played 2 characters (he didn’t; it was just Craig)?

I’m talking about Jean-Ralphio and Mona Lisa. Yes, they did yell a lot, and even my teens found them annoying and unwatchable.

Jean-Ralphio is an amazing character and they wisely used him in little doses. Mona Lisa was annoying but didn’t ruin the show.
I heard an interview with Ben Schwartz, who played Jean-Ralphio. He said a spin off based on his character was considered but then everyone realized that would be way too much J-R. He’s better in small doses.

Sorry, but Jean-Raphio was super-annoying

DP, but I thought that character, and the sister, were hilarious. And kind of on point for small town wannabes.

Agreed - not characters I would want to have starring roles, but they definitely had their moments. I could see how some people would find them annoying though, especially if UCB-style comedy isn't their thing. I also don't really understand why PP thinks they yelled constantly - yea, they had the quirk of singing phrases, but it really wasn't yelling/shouting all of their lines.

Dont be suspicious - don't be suspicious

Agree with April Nardini, new Greg on CEG, Dawn on Buffy along with all the new Slayers. Also, the new Anna-Kat on American Housewives (not that it was a great show before but unwatchable after). And Marley on Glee, fine actress, lame character.

Julia Duffy on Designing Women.

Abby on NCIS. Zero character development over 15 seasons of the show. Which made a quirky role turn juvenile, immature, annoying, and downright weird that someone who looked like she belonged in a high school bathroom was being played by a 45-year-old. The contrast between the way they slowly developed Palmer's character from a bit part to a more central role and the way Abby stayed completely static was bizarre. Maybe the actress had no range.

Agree.

Yeah I otherwise like the actor, but he was just no replacement for Santino Fontana who just embodied that character. It may have been okay if he was Greg from the get go.

Totally agree! It was impossible to replace Santino Fontana. He WAS Greg.

Yep she got on my nerves. Tammy too, Lip's baby mama.

That same actress’s character on The Connors ruins it for me, too. Such a joyless ingrate.

And the fact that she never apologized for promoting these junk science quacks. . . .

The new students on A Different World. Lena, Charmaine, etc. They could have just followed Dwayne, Whitney, and Kim. My dislike for Jada Pinkett started then.

I agree with this. She's horrible. And the show was SO expertly cast before she started.
Additionally, she doesn't look like either of them and that's distracitng too. He's 6'3 and she's 5'10, both blue eyes and they have a 5'5 daughter? With brown eyes?
