The data actually is more like a relatively small percentage of men (way lower than 50%) are repeat offenders who go unchecked.
The percentage of women who have been victimized does not match the percentage of men who are perpetrators. It’s not a one-to-one ratio.
There really are “super-predators” when it comes to sex crimes. They are not rare-rare but no, 50% of men absolutely are not rapists, however you want to define rape.

I don’t doubt many women regret having sex with him. And he may well have done all the things he is accused of. But I withhold judgment because SA has turned into a weaponized commodity, and I don’t trust it any longer. Especially against someone who fell out of fashion.
He has been so open about his sex addiction long before that was acceptable.
If 50% of men have sexually assaulted someone, we are dumbing down the definition of sexual assault to the point it minimizes/waters down the terrible experiences of actual victims. That is not OK.
Or…the stranger in the bushes is not the only definition of rape. And a lot of rapists don’t think they’re rapists.
Sexual assault does not only include forced intercourse.
