You can sign up even if you’re not with Bethesda?
My kid is u8
Thoughts?
It’s a decent introductory league and something fun to do. He probably won’t learn “real futsal” but he is u8 and there is plenty of time. The actual Bethesda teams play in that league so there will be a mix of good teams and bad. A bit unpredictable to know how many non-BSC teams and players sign up, but apparently there is now a bit of a partnership with Alexandria.
If it’s not too inconvenient travel-wise, I say do it.

Nope. Everyone attends the same tryout this year.

And are Arlington futsal teams primarily Arlington (regular soccer) players or do they had outside/free agents?
Both Alexandria and Arlington will take the right players from outside but mostly kids within the club are the one showing up to tryout.
Sorry, butthis is totally not accurate for Alexandria.
Alexandria will take kids from outside the club.
Again, this is not valid. At U-13 and above (similar in lower ages), MLS Next players take the top teams; there is no room. The program is not worth it. There is tons of nepotism and a lack of good coaching. They will definitely take your money for the lesser teams, but overall, it is not worth it.
Again, I am not going to argue with you because clearly you are bias, and you're feeling obviously has been hurt. There were several players from other clubs who played fustal with ASA last winter.
Just describing facts, the academy futsal teams are for the MLS Next teams or red teams for lower ages. Regardless, the program is not worth it, coaching is bad.
As it is stated on their website. They have different tier for the different level of play.
Yes, external players are only considered supplemental. In most cases, if not all, they will be placed on the lower teams. It's not worth it at all. No real futsal coaches, look somewhere else.
Seems like your child was not selected to be on the top team and you are bitter. Move on.
Not the case. I am just stating facts. Sorry, you can't take it. Keep fooling yourself
You are only fooling yourself. Don't bash a club and their coaches just cause you can't handle it
