This. Whether or not her dad was the correct person to manage her, or took advantage of the role, is one conversation. It’s heartbreakingly apparent that she DOES need a conservator. Presumably after this many years, if there was a magic cocktail of meds to put her on to that would make her fully capable of handling her own affairs, estate, and decisions, they would have found it. But they haven’t.
She’s just not an adult with full critical
Thinking capacity, which is unfortunate but not debatable.
+ 1. Now one should defend Jamie Spears. What he did was wrong and he took full advantage of her. But it’s clear there should be a middle ground here.
Maybe one day her boys will mature, grow up, see what an absolute leech loser their Dad is, and come save/ take care of their Mom.
One can hope & dream.
Bite your tongue. No child should be responsible for saving or taking care of their seriously mentally ill mother who despite having a fortune of resources refuses to get herself the professional help that she needs.
Anyway the more likely scenario is that at some point in the near future the boys become her exploiters. She’s a cash cow who has done little to foster a close and loving relationship with her sons that would compel them to highest principles, after all.
+1
She is not her kids’ responsibility.
Can you read? I never said it was her kid's responsibility.
I was hoping her sons would grown up, see what a parasite cretin their dad Kevin Federline is, and come show love and compassion for their very exploited mother.
Why the Kevin Federline hate. He has raised the boys when their mother could not. Yes, he got child support but so would any woman in that situation.

The only parent they ever had is Kevin. Have you seen Britney’s Instagram posts? You think that is showing love to her sons? It’s incredibly embarrassing. She is mentally unwell but she was never a mother to them.

No. If her dad wanted the conservatorship purely for her well-being he would have stepped down in favor of someone else being in charge of it when their relationship first got rocky again. He also wouldn’t have had her working like a dog. Look at Amanda Bynes parents. While she was in her conservatorship she was resting and working on her mental health not working nonstop but of course her dad is a dentist who can support himself without need to mooch off his daughter.
A parent takes care of his child, even when they're fighting. You're not thinking this through.
Also, she wasn't working like a dog, she was working and keeping busy so that she would stay focused and not go off the rails. That's sensible, not exploitative.
That’s not what she said. She was forced into contracts and to perform. Leah ally she couldn’t sign a contact. That’s why she walked out of the opening for the Vegas tour, which started the crumble of her conservatorship.
Britney’s fortune was dwindled down to the single digit millions at the time her dad was made her conservator. Despite all the money he supposedly swindled from her in managing her conservatorship, he left her with $60 million plus in assets.
And anyone objecting to her working just doesn’t understand the nature of her mental illness. During the conservatorship Britney’s life was very structured, she was kept on a regimen of meds and therapy and she spent a lot of time working because as research has now made abundantly clear, there is little else that is better for the mentally ill mind than physical movement/exercise to regulate mood and sleep and ease anxiety, paranoia and depression.
And guess what? All those years in the conservatorship and Britney was the healthiest she’s been in her adult life. She is now going off the rails while barely working. She has nothing to focus and distract her from the mess inside her mind because she’s her own boss and she QUIT! And then got married and then screwed the housekeeper so won’t be married much longer but gosh darn she is FREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
I would, if given the opportunity, say a personal thanks to Jamie Spears for insisting Britney wear an IUD those 13 years he had the power to request it. I say those thanks on behalf the child(ren) who were spared the pain of growing up with such a seriously mentally ill mother.
+1 yes to all you said. very sad but true.

I’m the pp. No argument here. And I lump myself into that gross group – because here I am, publicly discussing someone I don’t know in the slightest.
I think she is a combination of seriously mentally ill and not very bright and it’s just sad.
This I suspect is true. And, in some ways, it’d maybe be better if she wasn’t as talented as she is? If she’d stayed in Louisiana and become say, a hairdresser, she’d have had less pressures, possibly found a husband who would’ve loved her for her rather than her money, and would’ve been able to work out her mental health issues in private rather than the world watching.
