So let us have our moment. I think dark Brandon is great. I thought LGB was mean but totally within bounds for people who dislike the President and his policies to push viral. I thought Dark Brandon is about as effective a way as you have to get those who really don’t like that type of disrespect to be able to respond. But overall, it’s really wonderful to be able to smile at each other about these normal political stuff than ti be dragged down into the abyss if totally outside the norm stuff from the former guy.
Except, in typical fashion, the initial response from liberals was censorship and a million navel, gazing think pieces about how LGB was obscene and borderline hate speech.
But now it's all cute and fun and "totally within bounds"...
Aren’t you the party that likes to play at decency and respect? And you thought group chants and flags on your compensation trucks and hanging from your porches with the original “*uck Joe Biden” was appropriate? You’re like ten year old boys, only without the sweetness and curiosity that they usually have. You’re all id, no intelligence.
Biden couldn't handle a couple of drunk college kids in football stadiums yelling a silly chant. That is what made it take off like wildfire. And then the media had to step in and do what the media does and they made the whole situation even worse and kept compounding it. And now the Biden campaign is quintupling down on the butthurt by contorting themselves into thinking they are reclaiming power from all of this foolishness by reviving a meme that died four score and seven months ago.
The whole thing was and still is hilarious.

And what makes it even more fun is that the left is trying so hard to insist this is “cool” or that it was funny to them all along. Um, no - they were clutching their pearls about this moniker up until very recently.
