It takes a LOT of taxpayer money to rename places and the money could be better spent on upgrading the place.

What about Washington DC because it is named after George Washington (also owned slaves)? Should we rename the Ronald Reagan Airport because his campaign produced a somewhat racist ad about welfare recipients while running for reelection. I don't see where this will stop and it seems like a distraction from things that can have a meaningful impact on society.
