I mean, I don't have to buy my kid new school clothes every 2 years, but guess what?
-I do, because they don't fit or they are worn out!

Whose uniform still fits their kid or isn't worn out after 2 years?

Depends on age of your kid. My 13yo DD hasn’t grown in 2 years.

Some brands (like Tyko Sport) use fully sublimated jerseys, so the logos and numbers are embedded in the fabric and don't peel off, which helps the kits last longer.

They also offer year-round team stores where individual items can be purchased as needed, instead of requiring full package repurchases. That kind of flexibility can make a big difference for families who don’t need an entirely new set every cycle.

Just something to consider.

Do the kids stop growing too?

One of my kids club are doing odd numbers/even numbers depending on the age group so that there are not number conflicts next year when the birth year change is made. That being said, I just dropped over $800 on the stupid bundle (granted it was only $500, but I found only have one game/practice jersey a PIA and a lot to handle when we had more than one game in the same weekend). What really gets my blood boiling are the stupid warm up pants that aren't actually warm and the book bag! How many darn athletic book bags does one kid need? it's wasteful and shameful!!!

Such a good point and one I am sure they have done nothing to in prepare for. At our old club they couldn't even keep numbers distinct across 4 teams in the same age group.

I assume they'll just tell us to rebuy if my kids league switches. The jerseys are only a piece of the $750 but this year though.

When you break down total club costs (unform, fees, tournaments) it's $300-400 a month, right? If your family can't swing that you need to contact the club for financial assistance, reevaluate what you're spending all your money because you make 200k plus a year and still can't afford it is odd, or travel sports just aren't for your family. None of them are anybody else's problem but yours.
