Subject: Which U.S. Presidents had genuinely good, solid marriages?
I guess I’m the one weirdo who actually thinks the Clintons have a good marriage, or one I can relate to.
There’s a pragmatism, ambition, and friendship there. It seems real to me.
60% of spouses cheat at some point.
Maybe it’s my own marriage but a big part of why DH and I are together is because it’s in the mutual interest of our respective careers. We support each others ambitions and we are friends. I’m not sure we’re romantically in love with each other anymore but neither of us is leaving.

I have actually met multiple members of the Biden family and I know nothing?
How about you just admit that you are talking out your a$$ about being positive that Joe is the reason Hunter has problems and move on

People struggle with addictions for any number of reasons. Do some stem from family problems? Sure. But some have absolutely zero to do with how people were raised. As the spouse of someone who has struggled with an addiction, I have heard a LOT of stories and reasons.
If Biden cannot even run his own son, how he can possibly run the country with thousands of addicts?

IIRC, Jill is on record saying that isn't true. The story popped up only when he was running for President.

Your stories are anecdotal. Data proves differently. Bidens are a messed up family and all of their kids just a reflection of their family malfunction.
What Data? You have no actual data other than 2 of his kids have dealt with addiction. That isn't proof of anything other than those 2 people have had addictions that they have sought treatment for. By all accounts, Beau was a great guy who was on his way to great things.
Sadly, that family has dealt with a lot of tragedy. This is also a data point that is provable. Losing a wife and young baby in a car crash. Joe having health issues in the 80s. Losing a son to brain cancer. And having addiction in the family is tragic as well.
You want to pin it on the family just because you don't like them.

I think she could have possibly achieved the senate seat and secretary of state position on her own.
As for the presidential nomination, what's the point of running if you don't win? I am not sure if that added much if any value to her accomplishments. And i think Bill' messiness tarnished her image and possibly contributed to her presidential loss.
We would never know if she could have achieved all or any of this without Bill. However, we can imagine her coming close. She could run in similar circles without Bill.
Compare this to Melania: what were her chances as an uneducated escort/ model with no documents to marry a US billionaire? That's a big come up. That marriage took her to a completely different circle.
