Generally speaking, no. My husband has a lot of female work friends (and other friends as well) that he grabs dinner with, and I don't go. I don't tend to be jealous and we are pretty independent people. Does kind of depend on who it was, though.

I feel like it does feel like a date but that’s just the awkward intimacy of business travel.
I had one male colleague I traveled with so much that I learned to schedule 20 minutes between breakfast and departure so he could disappear back to his room to poop.
We had a lot of “date” dinners but did not have sex, lol.
Ah yes, we do get so close and sometimes know a bit too much about each other. My male coworker once ran to cvs to buy me tampons when I unexpectedly got my period. I have taken care of a coworker when he got sick while on a business trip. We are all really close friends now after spending so many days on the road together.

I don’t understand this. What could be less sexy than business travel? After a day on planes and meeting with clients, I just want to be alone in a dark cold room as long as possible before I have to get up and do it again.
I personally feel a lot more like a woman when I’m not mothering.
Business travel is so fun, company is paying for everything and you are having fun with zero home responsibilities.
Agree. Would never do anything inappropriate, but it is relaxing in that it's a break from family responsibilities. I don't get moms who complain about travel or have "mom guilt". That being said I wouldn't do it constantly.
Some parent love their kids. It would break my heart to be away from them.
And this is how we smother children. As SAHM, I see no problem with someone enjoying a different aspect of their life other than being a 24/7 on-call mom.

A lot of women who become hyper-obsessed with being mom end up divorced. Who wants to be married to a woman who is a one trick pony? Plenty of women (SAHM/WOHM) seem to be capable of doing things on occasion that don’t involve their children. Most people call that HEALTHY.
I feel sorry for children who have parents constantly hovering. Hovering doesn’t equal love and is often an indicator of an unhealthy attachment.
