I never heard of Caitlin Clark before yesterday, I am an ACC fan/alumna. I am also very familiar with UConn, SC, LSU, Tennessee, etc women’s basketball, for decades. I also know of Reese for years, she’s from Baltimore and used to play at Maryland. I am not unique in being a big women’s fan.

Under no circumstances is it justified to invite the losing team. Biden is not only insulting the winners, but also all women’s fans in general by treating this sports event different than others. Women are aggressive and competitive. They fight and play to win. We don’t need some stupid bs that overshadows the hard work of the team that won. Sorry if you love Clark and Iowa so much. They lost. They should have played better and scored more points to win but then didn’t. So they stay home. No invitation. And no one owns Clark and Iowa some big thank you for something they didn’t even remotely do.
