While we should have waited until middle school financially, I truly cant believe how wonderful the Beauvoir experience has been compared to what our friends are experiencing at non-NW publics. If our careers stay on track in a few years tue debt will be gone and we will be much more comfortable affording private but it will always be a stretch we are willing to make.
Thank you for sharing this. I feel like the logical thing is to wait for middle school, but I value early education and want to make it a priority…and of course secure their place in a K-12
We're also holding until middle school, since that's the most we can financially swing, but I would look now for our oldest if we could. Our public ES has good leadership and teachers who are doing their absolute best given the limits, but I can see the chaos, resulting restrictions, and the testing wearing on them. I just want more creativity in elementary, darn it.
