Why does Maryland own the whole River and force Virginians to gawk at its beautiful great falls from land locked parks?
Why doesn’t Virginia have an academic community like Georgetown/Big Ten UMD/Navy Annapolis/John’s Hopkins all in a 25 mile radius?
Why are all the monuments and national attractions on the Maryland side of the River?

What monuments are in MD? Who cares anyway or about where stadiums are or which state owns the Potomac. Dumb points.
Yes, MD has better privates and country clubs. If you are rich and fabulous, Moco is great. But if you're not, it's NOVA or misery.
Privates are the only option.
Publics literally suck everywhere. They are for the poor, overwhelmed or ignorant.
Rich people try to convince themselves that their kids need privates, but then their kids end up at crappy colleges anyways. Maybe the thinking is that, without the private school, their kid wouldn't have even gotten into the crappy college?

Columbia also rated top 10 best places to live. VA not in top 10.
If you expand to 20, it includes Arlington, but it also includes Rockville.
If NoVa is so great, why is only one town in the top 20 best places to live, but "crappy" MoCo and HoCo are both on the list?
Literally nobody here is bragging about how nova is better than anything in the world.
Oh, now you are bringing in the "world", when previously it was NoVa is so much better than MoCo.
