I just remember feeling bad that the new principal had to send out a letter during the first week of school to report on an anti-semitic inicident that occurred.

Current parent of an 8th grader. 8th grader and friends reported that there are not nearly as many behavior issues. Kids used to wander the halls during class and that doesn't happen. Hardly any fights and when there have been fights they are responded to quickly. There are good teachers at SSIMS and in the previous two years there were a lot of subs and difficulty keeping teachers due to lack of support from admin but all teachers my DC has now seem pretty good now. Block is definitely making SSIMS a better school.

Less hall walking acc to my 8th grader. Fewer fights maybe?
