Tell me more about Brandeis and Haverford, planning to look at both, what do your kids like/not like
DC at Haverford plays a sport which has influenced her time there - she loves it, great classes and profs, lots of smart and friendly kids although all of her good friends are involved in athletics - she generally finds it a low key and supportive environment. She has enjoyed access to Philadelphia although finds plenty to do on campus, and she has not yet taken advantage of the consortium but says many students do.
DC at Brandeis is a more intense kid and quickly found a good group of friends who seem similar in personality

She has a lot of friends from other countries (there is a sizeable international student body) which she loves. She hasn’t spent much time in Boston yet but likes the ability to do so. She’s been happy with lots of on canpus activities, shows, etc and has found it a seeious but stimulating environment which is right up her alley.
I’d say both schools seem to attract smart, nice, kind and welcoming student bodies. Haverford is much smaller and that makes a difference in the vibe.
