Any modern auto factory is going to require a bidding war because there are great paying factory jobs at the plant as well as all of the ancillary jobs created by the presence of a plant.

Realistically, if he was the nominee, he would lose by about 4%. If it weren't a presidential year, he could have cut the margin to around the amount he won by in 2021, but there won't be much ticket splitting, especially if Trump's on the ballot.

It seems pretty clear that Youngkin is all about pandering.

His prattle recently about the equity debate in Nova was particularly embarrassing for him. I realize he exploited Terry's (accurate) statement about parent involvement in the schools to win the governorship, but he's really starting to flog a dead horse with his meddling in our schools. Between this and the Ford thing ... just, nope. He's not going anywhere. I'm sure Virginia will survive his misfeasance, but it's going to be stagnant couple of years of a leadership vaccuum at the top.
