He needs to resign.
When will the “Middle Finger Five” ANC 3C commissioners resign, especially Sauleh Siddiqui, Janelle Pagats, amd Hayden Gise? Flicking off a Maryland-owned business and Tweeting “F” your constituents should be disqualifying.

Haha, go away boomer.
Haha, go away Bob Trumper!
F*** the ops!
(and just for you, boomer, know that ops doesn't mean old people, it means opposition. I know this confused some of you on CP listserv)
One problem if the sticky fingers crowd resigns from the ANC, is that Bob Trumper will just find other lackeys.

Because his constituents want him to explain why he lied to them? That constitutes “creepy vibes” and a threat to his personal safety in your view?
The problem is the obsession. From the Ward 3 race to the BOE race to now. The election is over. The fact that you cannot move on is indeed creepy.

He needs to resign.
He needs to RESIGN over a campaign sign? I mean, I didn't vote for him, but that seems rather extreme.
No. He needs to resign because he apparently told a bold-faced lie to the electorate and was elected on that basis.
This phony Office of Campaign Finance opinion, delivered 3 weeks after the vote, means nothing. It is binding on no one. Goulet did nothing wrong, the Goulet haters need to get over it -
1. The voters didn't care - This was all discussed pre-election. The haters ginned up protests from a few of the PTOs - voters saw that for what is was, just a lot of noise.
2. Goulet never claimed the logos constituted an endorsement. It's similar to the DC-flag motif used by most DC campaigns. Nobody thinks those candidates have an official DC government endorsement either.
3. The opinion itself is sloppily written, so hedged and so equivocal it has no meaning and no authoritative weight. No dates are included as to allegedly "advising" Goulet not to use the logos, after the OCF indicated previously there was no misuse of government resources.
4. "On further review..." - that's rich, is this the NFL? At least they announce the review before the game is over!
5. DCPS response is so qualified it has no application to the 2022 election - Goulet never claimed DC "endorsement, sponsorship, legal or other affiliation".
6. Goulet's strength was the cluelessness of his opponent, not the use of these logos. The opponent boasted "I'm the only DCPS parent in this race". Voters heard that and thought, "Well I'm not a DCPS parent either", given that a majority of W3 families, at some point, use private schools. Include non-parents and empty nesters, few voters are DCPS parents - yet Goulet's opponent insisted on marginalizing them and driving them away.
