But all you have to do is read this thread and what the pro Cao folks on here have said. There are a lot of people out there who aren't very bright, and he tried to appeal to the gun-toting, flag-waving, mom and apple pie crowd. Unfortunately there are more of them out there than you think.

He also doesn't care about any of those issues. He's only interested in National security policy because he thinks his 20 yrs in the Navy made him an expert on it. I know this for a fact because I actually know him. He's running because he is very conceited and thinks very highly of himself. He's not going to do anything for his constituents or be available.

I would tend to think 20 years in the Navy made Cao more of an expert on national security than four years as a prosecutor made Wexton an expert on the judiciary system, but it certainly hasn't stopped her from holding forth like she's RBG reincarnated. She's a total lightweight, and it's not like she's served in the House so long that she has any meaningful seniority.
