Truffles are overrated.

But "picky eating" is caused by shitty parenting 99% of the time.
Have you heard of ARFID? I'm not a shitty parent, I literally need professionals to help my kid eat. Must be nice to be you, head in the sand.

Eggs are gross and it freaks me out to imagine eating them
Hot Coffee w cream and sugar makes me feel sick. I can only drink my coffee black if it’s hot. However I do like frozen, blended ice coffee drinks w cream and sugar.
I’m vegetarian now so obviously don’t eat any meat any more but when I did eat meat, I always thought chicken, Turkey, and pork were disgusting. The only meat I ever liked was a beef hamburger or a steak sometimes.
+1000 on the mayo
Not the PP you're replying to, but the one saying I ate fresh fava beans weekly. I meant cooked fresh as opposed to canned or dried. I didn't realize she said raw, was too busy reacting to her trolling.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:If you think of fruit as a "treat" and think carbs are something to be limited or make you gain weight, and you're not a diabetic, then you have an eating disorder.
If you equate limiting carbs to having an eating disorder, your relationship to food is probably disordered too.
Yep those darn sweet potatoes! Chickpeas! Fava beans! Oranges! Carrots! Barley! Lentils! Farro! I may even have ice cream a few times this week to help cool me down after dinner. Soooo disordered!![]()

Maybe not disordered, but wow, you sure worked hard to know a lot! Yes, beans, legumes, and fancy grains have carbs! Oh you are so sophisticated! Brava! Surely people looking to limit carbs are referring to fava beans (haven't seen those fresh in two decades), barley, and farro, not fries, bread, beer, and eggo waffles.
I don't think you know what a carb is. Maybe you're talking about processed food? They are not similes.
Carbs are what encompass the diet of the healthiest populations on the planet, by and large. If you can afford it, go to Italy and off the beaten path. Fresh raw fava beans are delicious. Maybe even have it on some fresh bread with olive oil.![]()
Raw fava beans? They contain high levels of the toxin lectin, which is only destroyed by cooking. Do they really eat raw fava beans in Italy? That is bizarre.
