I was trying to think how would a selection with ongoing links to Whittle make me feel as a parent (we are at a similar school). Uneasy is the answer

I actually agree with his credentials being excellent and would add that failure is sometimes a great experience too.

Nonetheless, I would be very interested in the answers to the foregoing 2 questions about the links to and admissions from Whittle as well ad the role of the family member there in 2022 (what was known, what was said to some parents and kept from the others)

Step 1. Maret search committee and the Maret board is public too. Audit to ensure no one has connections to Whittle, related investments, parents’ committee, admin

Hopefully you find that there are the same or fewer than to the other Big 5, all on merit, and with no greater representation amongst the admitted kids from the various committee parents’ families at Whittle than the % of the general Whittle population these households represent

And here’s a variation on the “unhinged” comment. I can tell we struck a nerve. For me it’s about transparency and fairness and just no to the rich folk getting away with anything
